“If seeds disappear, food will disappear. And so will you.” These are the words of the Danish scientist, Bent Skovmand. Seeds are the fundamental element of all plants and animals. This documentary film follows the activities of people who are fascinated by these ‘seeds’ and helps us to think about how we, as consumers, should view this issue.
Focusing on the activities of environmental activist Yoritaka Okamoto, the film captures the different positions and thoughts on the issue of seeds which have given rise to diverse differences in opinion and values.
Production started in 2021 with the aim of releasing the film in 2022, but the COVID epidemic caused a major production delay, and production will be resumed in 2023.
