The film Ubusuna, completed in 2013, attempted to show how the spirit of Ubusuna inhabits all of us, as it searched out a vanishing Japan across the country.

The second installment of the project, Ubusuna 2 – Destruction, focused on Fukushima, Chiba, Shizuoka, Fukui, Tokushima and Kagoshima. Amid the devastation after the 2011 earthquake disaster in Fukushima, the film attempted to find the true meaning of Ubusuna, and the forests of Japan.
